Engagement Tour, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Community Engagement (South ) Hon. Gbologe Alex has interfaced with
traditional rulers, youth organizations, and women groups in Odigbo local government area of Ondo State.
The meeting was aimed at deepening collaboration between the traditional institution, relevant stakeholders and the state government.
The engagement focused on strengthening grassroots communication, building effective feedback channels, and supporting Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s Our Ease Agenda.
Hon. Gbologe who noted that the Governor cannot be physically present in every community at all times, stressed the need to build a strong communication and representation structure, hence, the Office of Community Engagement remains the key to connect all communities in the Southern Senatorial district.
This structure will avail government of timely and firsthand information that helps shape interventions tailored to real-time community needs.
Hon. Gbologe Alex said Governor Aiyedatiwa places high value on steady, honest, and community-driven feedback
which according to him, is essential to improving government programs, accelerating development, and advancing the goals of the “Our Ease” Agenda, which prioritizes easier access to services and improved living conditions for citizens.
The royal fathers in the council area expressed gratitude to the governor for his purposeful leadership, which is driving growth and development at all levels, while noting his passion for the welfare of traditional institutions as evident in the recent distribution of vehicles to all royal fathers in the state.
The traditional rulers commended Hon. Gbologe for his dedication and opined that his approach to engagement is the first of its kind in the area.
The traditional rulers who commended governor Aiyedatiwa for putting a round peg in a round hole, also reaffirmed their commitment to supporting his administration’s development efforts.
The engagement further promoted the relationship between the government and traditional institutions and underlined the vital role traditional rulers play in the progress and stability of their communities and safety of lives and property.
