
OSAMAYE COMMENDS AIYEDATIWA OVER PROMPT ACTION ON GENDER EQUALITY, WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has been commended for taking prompt action over gender equality and women empowerment.
At a programme “Circuit”, organised by the OSRC/Orange FM chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Osamaye emphasized that the Governor has demonstrated this through his all-inclusive governance, noting that sustaining the development requires a collective commitment from all stakeholders.
At the event which focused on pivotal issues driving women empowerment, Osamaye called for immediate action from political leaders to address the pressing challenges before they escalate further.
During her presentation titled “Championing Change: The Role of Women in Shaping Ondo State’s Future,” Dr. Osamaye reeled off her achievements and outlined her vision for gender equality.
The Special Adviser emphasised the importance of equal rights for women and urged society to actively participate in advancing women’s causes.
The chairman of OSRC/Orange FM Chapel of the NUJ, Odunayo Sawyerr reinforced the need to uplift and empower women within the community.
Director General of the Ondo State Radiovision Corporation, Mr. Kenneth Odusola-Stevenson, acknowledged the vital role women play in societal development.
The interactive session provided NUJ members the opportunity to engage Dr. Osamaye on various state government programmes and policies.
