Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, has expressed the need for synergy and effective collaboration amongst Security Agencies for meaningful achievements.
Akeredolu who was represented by his Deputy, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa made this submission on Monday in his opening remarks as Special Guest of Honour at a Retreat organized by Ondo State Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps for its officers.
The Retreat with the theme : Tactics and Safety Skills Enhancement as a Tool for Tackling Contemporary Security Challenges, was held at Nigeria Air force Base, Ipetu Ijesha, Osun State.
Akeredolu disclosed that, the Country for now, craves for cohesion and professionalism amongst Security Agencies for optimal performance.
He said the State Government’s robust partnership with Security Agencies in the State has greatly improved the security challenges in the Sunshine State.
While commending the organizers for the thoughtfulness in putting together the retreat, the Governor said the retreat would enhance the capacity of the officers.
