Motorists in Akure the Ondo State capital have continued to commend the Dealer of NNPCL popularly known as ‘Omi Eja’ station, Alhaji Olabayo Ibrahim for efficient service delivery and accurate pump discharge.
They described the petrol station as a great encouragement for a better Nigeria owing to display of honesty and decorum in running the affairs of the station.
In a chat with Naijaparrots reporter, Demola Kunlere at the premises, car owners and drivers both commercial and private called on other fuel marketers in the state to emulate, Alhaji Olabayo Ibrahim.
According to Iyiola Oluborode, since the crisis in the fuel sector, there has not been a situation when the dealer had to exploit the people.
“What surprises me is that the man sells at the approved pump price by the NNPCL while you are sure confident that you are getting value for your money”, he said.
“The irony of it is that those who sell at about #1,000 naira would short-change you by selling inaccurate discharge while Alhaji Olabayo Ibrahim who sells at approved #580 naira sells accurately,” Oluborode wondered.
It also became an issue of interest on the Facebook wall of some individuals who include Lorenzo Ayoola who attested to the high degree of transparency in the filling station.
“God bless NNPCL filling station ‘Omi Eja’ in Akure run by Alhaji Olabayo Ibrahim. T hey have never sold fuel beyond #580 during scarcity. They always come to my rescue. Respect sir.”
Apart from accurate pump discharge, motorists commend the station for proper organisation and orderliness despite the situation and long queue of Vehicles.
