
AKURE SOCIAL GROUP, HOUSE OF FRIENDS INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTES 2 MILLION NAIRA SOFT LOANS TO BENEFICIARIES
A prominent social group based in Akure, House of Friends International has distributed soft loans of 2 Million naira to 10 beneficiaries to meet their business and personal needs in fulfilment of one of its core cardinal objectives.
The exercise was carried out during its monthly meeting over the weekend.
During the disbursement of loans to the beneficiaries after thorough assessment of their applications, the Chairman of the Association, Comrade Abiodun Ojo appreciated Dr Olumuyiwa Adu (Cubana), the Patron of the group for his invaluable financial and moral assistance to meet up this specific obligation among others.
His words” We thank our patron who provided the money. His advice has also been of great help in channeling the generated funds for the benefits of individual members.
“These loans will be revolved among members and the maximum amount has been pegged at 200 thousand Naira per beneficiary at any time of disbursement”
The Chairman, Board of Trustees who is also the Vice Chairman of the group, Mr Adeleke Adeala emphasized that adequate measures have been put in place by his committee to ensure fair disbursement, prudent spending and timely repayment of the loans.
One of the beneficiaries of the intervention, Chief Ifedayo Ajana expressed his profound gratitude for this gesture and appreciated the leadership for being responsive to the yearnings of the members.
According to Apostle Kehinde Omoniyi, Ph.D, who is one of the Trustees, ” We appreciate the efforts of our Patron- Dr Barr. Olumuyiwa Adu who has given so much to improve the standard of living of thousands of people in Ondo state and beyond. He has recently dispensed millions of Naira to communities, groups and individuals in a bid to positively impact lives and humanity.
“Our association is planning to roll out other benefits that can boost the productivity of its members and improve their existential values in the face of the present socio- economic challenges.
