AKURE SOUTH LG BOSS, GBENGA FASUA HOLDS THANK-YOU RALLY, COMMENDS PEACEFUL CONDUCT
The Chairman of Akure South local government, Dr. Gbenga Fasua has appreciated the people of the state capital and its environs for coming out enmasse to vote for Governor Aiyedatiwa and the All Progressives Congress in the just concluded governorship election.
Dr. Fasua who spoke with newsmen shortly after a Thank-You rally held across various strategic locations in Akure said the victory signalled the degree of the love of the people for the party and its candidate.
The council boss said the victory recorded shows that the people of the season state, especially Akure residents have trust in the leadership style of Governor Aiyedatiwa and his commitment to take the state to the next level.
Dr. Fasua was accompanied by party leaders in the council area as well as members who came out in large number to appreciate residents for peaceful conduct.
Joined by the Vice-chairman, Hon. Ayodele Adebayo, along other prominent leaders of the Akure South APC, Ward Chairmen, women leaders, and the substantial crowd of enthusiastic supporters from across the local government, the Chairman made it clear that the collective strength and determination of the community have been vital in shaping their political landscape.
The council boss assured that Akure South LG will continue to work with the state government towards achieving the much needed overall development.
He assured that the various projects put in place by the governor would be complimented by his administration.
Fasua also enjoined the residents to maintain the existing peace in the state to attract development of the land and the people.
