AKURE SOUTH LG CHAIRMAN GBENGA FASUA EXPRESSES READINESS TO COMPLIMENT AIYEDATIWA’S EFFORTS
The Chairman of Akure South local government, Dr. Gbenga Fasua has expressed the readiness to compliment the efforts of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in ensuring good governance.
Dr. Fasua who spoke with newsmen shortly after he was sworn in at the International Center for Events and Culture ,The Dome in Akure said he has put in place all the required structures to achieve results.
The Chairman said his wealth of experience having served as Transition Committee Chairman as well as being a passionate lover of grassroots development would facilitate the much needed societal development.
Dr. Fasua emphasised that his administration would prioritise Agriculture to provide jobs and also make food security a target.
Similarly, the new council boss stated that infrastructural development would be extended to nooks and crannies of the council area while relevant stakeholders would be involved in the task of developing the local government area.
Also sworn in at the event is the Vice Chairman of the council, Hon. Ayodele Adebayo who also said he would play his part in ensuring the success of the administration.
