AKURE SOUTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOSS, DR. GBENGA FASUA FLAGS OFF TOMATO HARVESTING ON COUNCIL’S FARM
The Akure South Local Government Chairman, Dr. Gbenga Fasua proudly initiated the tomato harvest planted by the local government and wholeheartedly pledged to provide unwavering support to the department for the substantial expansion of this promising project.
The Akure South Transition Committee, led by Chairman Hon. Dr. Gbenga Fasua, along with Vice Chairman Hon. Ayodele Adebayo, Secretary Hon. Mrs. Margaret Gbadamosi, and other committee members, has officially commenced the harvesting and sales of tomatoes cultivated by the Agricultural and Natural department of the Local government.
This initiative is a testament to the local government’s commitment to promoting agricultural development.
During the event, Chairman Fasua expressed gratitude to the local government’s agricultural and Natural department for the successful implementation of this commendable project.
He assured the department of continued support for the expansion of the project, aiming to benefit all residents of the local council.
Notably, the management team, led by Mrs. Dupe Omoloja, and other departmental heads were also present to witness and support the occasion.
