Akure traders get BTO grant, as Awude leads SGN to distribute ‘Tinubu Aprons’ to market women
The distribution of Tinubu aprons continues with the distribution train entering Ondo South Senatorial District.
In a gesture of appreciation and support for the hardworking market women of Akure, Hon. Dayo Awude, Director-General of Sunshine Grassroot Network, led a delegation to the market where over 1,000 market women were presented with TINUBU aprons.
In a statement made available to the press by the State Publicity Director Of SGN, Hon Dele Ogunbameru, Awude emphasized that the initiative was a way of expressing gratitude to the traders and entrepreneurs who contribute significantly to the local economy. “This gesture is a symbol of our appreciation for the efforts of the market women,” he said.
The market women sang endless praises and offered prayers for the President, expressing their confidence in his leadership and the future of the nation.
They pledge to constitute themselves into a formidable orientation and mobilization structure to work for the actualization of the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as powered by the Honourable Minister of Interior, Hon. Bunmi Tunji Ojo.
On behalf of the market women, Iyaloja Temidayo Bolarinwa expressed joy and appreciation to the Minister for his unwavering support not just to market women, but to every artisan groups in Ondo State.
They further assured of their continued support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term ambitions.
Dayo Awude gave his assurance that the program will touch every market in Ondo State.
