ASUU THREATENS ANOTHER NATIONWIDE STRIKE OVER FAILED AGREEMENT WITH FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

The Academic Staff Union of Universities has informed the Federal Government of its plans to embark on a nationwide strike
Over failure of the federal government to fulfilled it’s promise

The university body at the end of the NEC meeting, which was held at the University of Ibadan, gave the federal government a 21-day ultimatum to see to the implementation of the agreement reached with the union

The national president of ASUU, Prof. Emmanuel Osodeke who spoke on the outcome of the meeting said the Federal Government had not implemented any of the agreement signed by both parties.
