The Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji Campaign Committee in Ekiti West Local Government Area has been Inaugurated with a charge to members to play significant roles towards the election of the APC candidate in the June 18th governorship election.
Members of the committee who are experienced politicians were drawn from the various units and wards across the local government area.
Performing the Inauguration in Aramoko-Ekiti, the BAO Campaign Committee Chairman in the council area, Mr. Dele Philips said all hands must be on the deck to ensure that the APC candidate, Biodun Oyebanji emerges the winner of the forthcoming governorship election.
Mr. Philips who is also a leading house of representatives hopeful stressed that the APC candidate has the required administrative experience to better the lots of the people of Ekiti State.
According to him, “someone who has served in various capacities as Chief of Staff to Governor, Secretary to State Government and even member of the state executive council will deploy his wealth of experience in ensuring efficient service delivery in the interest of the people”.
He said processes have been put in place to ensure that funds are provided with the limit of resources to facilitate the mobilisation of the people of the council area in support of the APC candidate, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
Mr. Dele Philips urged members of the committee to work hand-in-hand and fashion out necessary strategies for the emergence of the former Secretary to State Government.
Similarly, the Chairman of the party in the local government, Olu Aladeloye said the task of effecting the realisation of the dream of the party’s candidate, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji and that of the party as a whole should be seen as a collective responsibility.
Aladeloye assured that all relevant stakeholders would be carried along while thanking the BAO Campaign Committee Chairman, Mr. Dele Philips for playing prominent roles towards achieving the goal of the party.
He therefore charged other party leaders to emulate Mr. Philips who is also vying for the house of representatives seat in Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2.
