The clarion call by the Chairman of BAO Campaign Committee in Ekiti West local government area, Mr. Dele Philips has continued to yield positive results as mobilisation for the emergence of the APC candidate, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji continues to attract more supporters.
This was observed at the party meeting held at Erijiyan-Ekiti at the weekend to drum support for the party as well as its candidate in the forthcoming June governorship election in the state.
The Chairman of BAO Campaign Committee in the local government, Mr. Dele Philips had met party faithful and stakeholders in Aramoko-Ekiti last week to mobilise for the party and the governoship candidate, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji as the June 18 date approaches.
The Erijiyan-Ekiti meeting is one of the fallouts of the Aramoko-Ekiti parley and has started yielding positive results.
This time, two strong political leaders from the area were welcomed to the fold of BAO as they expressed their readiness to work in favour of the former Chief of Staff and Secretary to the State Government, Biodun Oyebanji.
The new members, Mr Odunayo Alade and Mr Loyo Fadipe were received into the party by party leader, Chief Jide Awe.
Awe who said the APC remains the best for the people of Ekiti State assured the new members of equal recognition without any discrimination.
The former party chairman called on all party faithful to play significant roles in ensuring that the party and its candidate, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji emerges winner in the June 18 governorship election.
Also speaking, Vice Chairman of Ekameta LCDA, Chief Ebenezer Adebusuyi said the entire structure of the Dele Philips Team has been moving round the entire council area as well as the federal constituency two to sustain the rallying point created by Mr. Dele Philips for the success of the party.
He assured that more political big wigs in the area would also join the fold before the governoship polls, stating that Mr. Dele Philips has mapped out strategies to visit all the 33 wards in the constituency as the election approaches.
