BREAKING: AGAINST NORTHERN GOVERNORS' POSITION, APC CHAIRMAN ADAMU ABDULLAHI PICKS SENATE PRESIDENT AS CONSENSUS CANDIDATE

All Progressives Congress National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu has announced Senate President, Dr. Ahmed Lawan as the party’s consensus candidate.

It was gathered that Adamu announced this at the meeting of National Working Committee on Monday in Abuja.

Other presidential aspirants which include Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and others will however be allowed to participate in the primary election.

The NWC members who spoke with newsmen also reportedly insisted that other aspirants must be given a level playing ground to compete for the ticket.
