COMMISSIONER AKINDOLIRE PLEDGES REVITALISATION OF STATE’S ECONOMY
The newly appointed Ondo State Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Mr. Olaolu Akindolire has assured the people of the state of his commitment to creating a better economy for all.
Speaking with Newsmen in Akure, the state capital, Mr. Akindolire outlined his vision for transforming Ondo State into a hub for economic prosperity, innovation, and opportunities.
“We will work tirelessly to ensure that our economic policies and programs benefit all citizens of Ondo State, regardless of their background or socio-economic status,” Mr. Akindolire said. “We will prioritize transparency, accountability, and inclusivity in our budgeting and economic planning processes.”
Mr. Akindolire highlighted some of the key areas of focus for his ministry, including:
– Diversifying the state’s economy to reduce dependence on oil revenue
– Investing in critical infrastructure such as roads, bridges, and energy
– Promoting entrepreneurship and innovation through initiatives such as business incubators, training programs, and access to finance
“We will engage with stakeholders, including the private sector, civil society, and community leaders, to ensure that our policies and programs are informed by the needs and aspirations of our people,” Mr. Akindolire said.
Mr. Akindolire called on all stakeholders to join hands with the state government to achieve its economic development goals.
“We are committed to making Ondo State a better place for all, and we invite everyone to join us on this journey,” Mr. Akindolire said.
