CFAN, COFAAA SET TO HOLD ANNUAL GENERAL MEETINGS NOVEMBER 26, 27 IN AKURE
…As COFAAA Global President, Comrade Adeola Adegoke Assures Required Structures Put In Place To Ensure Productive Deliberations
The Cocoa Farmers Association of Nigeria and the Nigeria Chapter of Cocoa Farmers Alliance Association of Africa have fixed the date for this year’s end-of-the year meeting of the associations.
The meeting is an annual event which attracts members as well as major stakeholders to reflect on the past activities, assess the present and project into the future of cocoa business in the country and beyond.
According to a statement made public by the President of Cocoa Farmers Association of Nigeria and the Global President of Cocoa Farmers Alliance Association of Africa, Comrade Adeola Adegoke, members of CFAN are to converge on Wednesday November 26th, 2025.
He explained that members of COFAAA are to have their annual general meeting on Thursday November 27th, 2025.
According to him, the venue of the meetings is the Cocoa House located at Afere Street, Off Old NITEL Building on Oyemekun Road in Akure the Ondo State capital.
While noting that the programme on each day starts by 10.00am, Comrade Adeola Adegoke urged members of both CFAN and COFAAA to attend promptly as important issues affecting both the members and the associations as well as the future of cocoa business would top the agenda.
In his words, “this year’s annual general meetings will provide platforms to discuss the European Union Deforestation Regulations as well as our relationship with the government at various levels”.
Adegoke added that all structures and processes have been put in place to ensure hitch-free and productive deliberations.
