
CHIEF SEGUN ODUSANYA WINS PRESTIGIOUS AWARD FROM SOUTHWEST HERALDS MAGAZINE
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, ( Forestry/Produce sub-sector), Chief Segun Odusanya, received a Leadership Award from Southwest Heralds Magazine for his outstanding contributions to civil service, government, and humanity in Ondo State.
The award ceremony took place on June 15, 2025, at the Ondo State Property Development Corporation Event Centre, Ijapo, Akure, the Ondo State capital.
Representing Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, Mr. Kenneth Odusola, Chairman of Ondo State Radiovision Corporation ( OSRC), described Chief Odusanya as a dynamic and dedicated public servant with a significant positive impact on the state.
The governor commended the magazine’s management for hosting a world-class event and congratulated all awardees, emphasizing that the hounor is a call to serve humanity.
The recipient, Chief Odusanya expressed gratitude to the organizers, stating that the award reflects the government’s efforts, particularly the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry’s, and pledged to continue impacting humanity and ensuring the state’s produce is free from adulteration, thereby benefiting all.
According to Otunba Adu Oluwatayo Moses, Chairman of the Planning Committee for the magazine’s 7th Anniversary, described the award as well-deserved, given Chief Odusanya’s meritorious service.
The event attracted friends, associates of Chief Odusanya, as well as Directors from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
Other notable awardees included Prof. Temi Ologunorisa, Hon. Timehin Adelegbe, Ambassador Ademola Odudu, Hon. Femi Idris, and Bayo Ilawole, among others. The event drew friends, associates, directors, and staff from the Ministry’s Forestry and Produce sub-sector.
