CHRIST’S SCHOOL 75/80 SET HOLDS 45TH GRADUATION CEREMONY
The 1975/1980 Set of the great Christ’s School, Ado-Ekiti is set to mark their 45th Post-Secondary School Reunion Celebration with a series of exciting and memorable events.
In a statement signed by the President of the Set, Chief (Mrs.) Wuraola Caroline Adepoju, all arrangements have been finalized to ensure members enjoy a fun-filled, blessed, and unforgettable five-day celebration.
According to her, the reunion officially kicks off on Wednesday, 15th October 2025, with a meeting of the executive members and the opening of the situation room for the reunion.
Thursday, 16th October 2025, will feature the arrival and registration of participants, followed by a courtesy visit to the Anglican Bishop of Ekiti Diocese. The day will be rounded off with an uplifting Evening of Praise and Worship.
Chief (Mrs.) Adepoju — a former Comptroller General of Immigration Services and High Chief of Ile-Oluji Kingdom — noted that this year’s reunion is also designed to give back to their beloved alma mater and the community.
On Friday, 17th October 2025, activities will include a medical outreach for staff, members, and the general public, as well as a career talk for students. The set has also prepared souvenirs for both staff and students as part of its contribution to the school’s development.
The day’s activities will conclude with a lively Gala and Comedy Night, where members and friends will reconnect in an atmosphere of fun and laughter.
The reunion reaches its climax on Saturday, 18th October 2025, beginning with an early morning endurance walk, followed by the Delegates Conference and Annual General Meeting of the set.
In the evening, members will unwind, enjoying good food, music, and camaraderie, while also witnessing the launch of the book “Echoes of Our Youth” and an Award Night recognizing distinguished members.
The celebration will conclude on Sunday, 19th October 2025, with a Thanksgiving Service at the school chapel — a time to give glory to Almighty God for His faithfulness over the years in the lives of members and their alma mater.
Chief (Mrs.) Adepoju wished all members — both at home and abroad — safe travels and assured them of a reunion filled with nostalgic moments, joy, and lasting memories.
