
CHRIST’S SCHOOL 80-85 SET GEARS UP FOR 2025 HOMECOMING, REUNION
…As Set Chairman, Ade Agunbiade Assures All Structures Put In Place For Successful Outing
The 40th Homecoming Anniversary Celebration of Christ’s School Alumni Association is set to begin on Tuesday 14th October, 2025.
In a detailed programme released and jointly signed by Set Chairman, Prince Adejumoke Agunbiade and Secretary, Comrade Gbenga Olowoyo respectively stated that the week-long programme is an annual event often organised to appreciate their Alma Mater that provided solid foundation for their today and to prepare young ones for for a greater tomorrow.
The programme will commence on Tuesday 14th October with the arrival of Set Executives tour of the school and executive council meeting to hold later in the evening.
Also on Wednesday 15th October, registration of members, Press Conference , visit to the Ewi of Ado Ekiti at Ewi’s palace and social bond will hold later in the day .
According to the schedule of programmes, on Thursday 16th October, 2025, there will be road show from Christ’s School to Okesa Area of Ado Ekiti the Ekiti state capital as well as career talk to be delivered by Professor Taiwo Owoeye, a Professor of Economics who is also a member of the Set.
On Friday, 17th October, 2025 there will be career talk, medical outreach while by 2:00 pm there will be Global Conference of Alumni Set Executives.
Same day, there shall be Distinguished Alumni lecture to be delivered by Professor Deji Fasuyi at the Lecture Theatre @ 3:00pm while Novelty match will follow immediately.
On Saturday 18th October, 2025 there shall be Delegates conference after which project commissioning and handing over will hold by the 80/85 Set @12 noon.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will follow immediately while Gala night and Award Ceremony will follow from 7:00 pm at the Adetiloye Multi- Purpose Hall at the premises of Fountain Hotel, Basiri along Old Iyin Road.
Thanksgiving Service will eventually take place at the Lord’s Chapel, Christ’s School premises @9:00am while change of Baton Will take place shortly after the Thanksgiving service.
In another statement issued by both the Chairman and Secretary of the Central Planning Committee, Dr Jadesola Taiwo Babatola and Barrister Ronke Adeyemi SAN, they stated that all necessary arrangements have been put in place for a seamless and successful homecoming celebration.
