
CHRIST’S SCHOOL, ADO-EKITI ALUMNI ASSOCIATION LOSES FORMER PRESIDENT, DR. LAWRENCE OBEMBE
Reports reaching Naijaparrots have it that a former global President of Christ’s School, Ado-Ekiti Alumni Association, Dr. Kayode Obembe has joined the saints.
According to a post made public by a former Public Relations Officer of the association, Dr. Taiwo Babatola, the renowned medical practitioner passed on in the United States of America.
In his statement , Dr. Babatola described the former President as a shining light for the association as well as Ekiti State and Nigeria in general.
“SIR DR. KAYODE OBEMBE (OJILAW) HAS YIELD TO HIGHER CALL OF GLORY AND ASCENDED WITH THE SAINT”.
Dr. Lawrence Kayode OBEMBE was born on the 7th of June, 1949 into the family of Zaccheus Ojo OBEMBE from the Royal family of Imila Kingdom, the lineage of Bamisile dynasty, Ayedun in Ikole Local Government.
He was a medical practitioner and owner of several business interest including Premier Medicaid and Christus Hospital.
He led the private medical practitioners association and later emerged as the President of Nigerian Medical Association.
He was the successor of Late Justice Jide Olatawura (JSC) as the global president of Christ’s School Alumni Association Worldwide.
