CHRIST’S SCHOOL ALUMNI CELEBRATE MEMBER, FOLUSO OGUNFIDITIMI FOR EMERGING AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PHYSICIAN ASSOCIATES PRESIDENT-ELECT
The ’88 Set of Christ’s School, Ado-Ekiti Alumni Association has congratulated one of them, Foluso Ogunfiditimi on his emergence as the President-elect of American Academy of Physician Associates.
The congratulatory message was made available to newsmen after receiving the news that the American-born Nigerian-raised health care provider had emerged a prominent factor in the league of black leaders breaking barriers in medicine.
The Chairman of the set, Professor Solomon Adekola described the development as a fulfillment of the dreams of the founding fathers of the famous school.
According to a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer, Seun Adetola, the Chairman stated that Foluso Ogunfiditimi emerging the President-elect of American Academy of Physician Associates excites not only the ’88 Set but the Alumni Community and the School in general.
The Chairman prayed for the required wisdom, knowledge and understanding that would enable the great ambassador of Nigeria to justify the confidence reposed in him.
“We are excited and are confident that our brother and classmate has the capacity to justify the saying on Agidimo Hills that not in name only but in deed and in truth as a great product of the only child of Dallimore”, Professor Adekola added.
Meanwhile, featuring on a TV show titled “Good Morning Washington” on 7News DC in the United States, Foluso Ogunfiditimi said he was influenced into the profession as a result of the lasting impression created the provider who took care of him after being hit by typhoid fever at a young age in Nigeria.
“That impression still follows me up till today and I am sure I would also continue to influence the health sector as a PA”, the President-elect said.
American Academy of Physician Associates supports diversity initiatives year-round through Project Access, a programme that works with kids in historically marginalised minority groups to expose them to the PA career as an option in the medical field.
