
EID-EL-FITR: DELE PHILIPS FELICITATES MUSLIMS, URGES PEACEFUL CO-EXISTENCE
The Vice Chairman of Asiwaju for President in Ekiti State has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful in Ekiti State, especially in Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2 on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.
In a goodwill message marking the end of Ramadan, the All Progressives Congress Chieftain described the celebration as a moment of immense joy and thanksgiving, emphasizing that the holy month of Ramadan instills values of patience, selflessness, and devotion to Allah’s commandments.
Dele Philips urged Muslims to uphold the virtues of love, kindness, and unwavering faith, which they cultivated during Ramadan.
He noted that Eid-el-Fitr is not only a time for celebration but also an opportunity for renewed commitment to peace, unity, and harmony in society.
The Aramoko-Ekiti-born party leader also called on Nigerians to support the less privileged, reminding them that the true essence of Eid lies in giving, sharing, and ensuring that no one is left behind.
He encouraged continuous acts of charity beyond the Ramadan period.
Dele Philips further prayed for peace, stability, and prosperity of Nigeria, urging leaders at all levels to govern with wisdom, justice, and fairness.
He also appealed to citizens to remain law-abiding, promote dialogue over conflict, and contribute to national unity and progress.
