EID-EL KABIR: ONDO PHILANTHROPIST SHEIKH LATEEF YUSUF OLAJIDE(SHEU AGBA) DONATES 15MILLION NAIRA CASH TO FAITHFUL
…Urges peaceful celebrations, prayers for peace and progress of Nigeria
An Islamic Scholar based in Ore in Odigbo local government area of Ondo State, Fadilat Sheikh Alhaji Abdulateef Yusuf Olajide Atanda popularly known as Sheu Agba 001 of Ondo State has urged Muslim faithful to pray for the progress and peace of Nigeria as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el Kabir.
The religious and political leader spoke in Ore while donating cash gifts for faithful ahead of the celebration.
The event witnessed presentation of cash gifts ranging from 10,000 naira to 30,000 naira per individual amounting to about 15million naira.
Fadilat Sheikh Lateef Yusuf Olajide said the development is part of his usual philanthropic gestures to Muslim brothers and sisters, even when it is not time for festivities.
He therefore called on other well-meaning individuals, Islamic Scholars, leaders of faith-based organisations to also impart positively on the people in the society.
Shehu Agba used the medium to urge faithful to keep maintaining peace in the state, noting that development could only take place in a peaceful environment.
Beneficiaries of the gesture appreciated the Islamic Scholar for his usual philanthropy which they said has become a reference point in the area and Ondo State in general.
