FELICITATES MUSLIMS, URGES UNITY
An International enterpreneur and political leader in Ondo State, Gbogi Emmanuel has felicitated the Muslim community in the State as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Maulud which marks the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
The enterpreneur who spoke in a statement signed by his Media Aide, Bamitale Okeya and made available to newsmen in Akure described the special day as a moment to reflect on the lessons of tolerance, sacrifice and peaceful coexistence which are the virtues of Prophet Muhammad.
The Akoko-born politician particularly identified with faithful from Akoko South West and the entire northern senatorial district and prayed that book of remembrance would be opened on the area in no distant future.
He enjoined Muslim faithful to use the celebration to pray for sustained peace, unity and collective progress of Ondo State and Nigeria in general.
Emmanuel who served the United States Army for 17 years also implored people of the State to prioritise peaceful coexistence as no meaningful development could be achieved in a rancorous environment.
While expressing hope of light at the end of the dark tunnel, the party leader prayed that the leadership would continue to be guided aright in the task of repositioning the economy of the nation.
Gbogi Emmanuel who acknowledged the religious harmony being witnessed in the state commended leaders of the faith-based organisations and urged them not to relent in praying for continued peaceful coexistence.
