

Ahead of Saturday’s governoship election, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Mr. Dele Philips is intensifying efforts at ensuring the emergence of the party’s candidate, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji as the next Governor of the state.
Philips who is also the Chairman of BAO Campaign Committee in Ekiti West local government area is making last-minute mobilisation of the electorate in the area in support of the party as he featured in various ward meetings to drum support for the party and Biodun Oyebanji in particular.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after a meeting held with some of his coordinators in Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2 in Aramoko-Ekiti, the international business mogul charged party faithful to embark on house-to-house campaign to boost the chances of the APC.
Mr. Dele Philips emphasized that Oyebanji remains the most qualified among all those seeking the governoship, emphasising the involvement of former Secretary to to State Government in socio-economic and political development of the state since the return to democracy in Nigeria over twenty years ago.




In his words, “I urge party leaders and followers to see this BAO project as a great prerequisite for overall development of our local government area, constituency as well as the entire state”.
He added that all those seeking elective posts in the 2023 elections should suspend that for the emergence of Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on Saturday, stressing that the governoship supercedes any other ambition.
Mr. Dele Philips assured that all required logistics would be provided to assist the party faithful in carrying out the last-minute mobilisation.
