One of the aspirants for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2 seat on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Dele Philips has charged the coordinators of his campaign in the 33 wards in the three local government areas to brace up for an aggressive mobilisation for the victory of the candidate of the party in the forthcoming governorship election, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
Mr. Dele Philips who was speaking with newsmen shortly after a strategic meeting with the coordinators from Ekiti West, Efon and Ijero local government areas in Aramoko-Ekiti charged them to embark on house-to-house campaign in the process of winning more supporters and electorate for the party.
Philips who is also the Chairman BAO Campaign Committee in Ekiti West local government area assured that all required logistics that would aide their efforts are already being put in place.
The international business mogul emphasized that the ugly incident that greeted the primary election the previous week should be put behind them and focus on the emergence of the candidate of the party in the governoship election, Biodun Oyebanji.
He emphasized that the victory of the party at the polls is a victory for the party members and followers, especially Ekiti West local government and the federal constituency.
He assured that he would visit all the 33 wards in the constituency as well as the units in the build-up to the election, assuring that relevant party leaders are also being involved to ensure that Oyebanji comes out victorious.
Dele Philips charged them to be steadfast and prioritize the interest of the party which he stressed is bigger than any individual no matter how highly placed.
Also speaking, another party leader, Chief Ebenezer Adebusuyi said the campaign coordinators should work hand-in-hand to facilitate the much desired victory for the party as being championed by Dele Phillips team.
Adebusuyi who is the Vice Chairman of Ekameta LCDA urged them to involve other party members in all the steps being taken to ensure that they all speak on the same page.
Speaking on behalf of the coordinators, Hon. Jide Daramola assured that all required strategies have been deployed to create a rallying point for both members and followers, expressing confidence that Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji would carry the day come June 18.
