EKITI 2026: IPAC URGES URGES CONSTRUCTIVE ENGAGEMENT
The Ekiti State Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) strongly condemns the recent surge in self-inflicted attacks and violent rhetoric within the political sphere in Ekiti State.
According to a statement signed by the Chairman, Comrade Owoola Daramola, he urged all stakeholders, particularly political parties and their supporters to refrain from actions that could escalate tensions and undermine the state’s fragile peace.
“IPAC warns that such actions are not only detrimental to individual well-being but also pose a significant threat to peace and stability in Ekiti State”.
“We emphasize that the campaign period has not yet commenced and all political actors should focus on constructive engagement rather than resorting to destructive tactics”.
“We call on political leaders, supporters, and the general public in Ekiti State to prioritize peaceful coexistence, respect for human rights, and the rule of law”.
“IPAC remains committed to promoting peace, tolerance, and dialogue in Ekiti State’s political process, ensuring a peaceful and credible election”, Daramola added.
