EKITI ACTING COUNCIL BOSS, ADEBUSUYI CALLS FOR COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS AS COUNCILLOR DONATES EXERCISE BOOKS TO EKITI WEST PRY SCHOOL PUPILS
The Acting Chairman of Ekameta Local Council Development Authority, Chief Ebenezer Adebusuyi has urged all stakeholders to play their part in complimenting the efforts of the state government at achieving human and societal development.
The Acting Chairman was speaking in Erijiyan-Ekiti while flagging off the distribution of exercise books donated by the Councillor representing Ward 4 in Ekiti West Local Government Area, Hon. Morakinyo Erinfolami to pupils of primary schools in the area.
Adebusuyi who emphasized that government alone can not attend to all the needs of the people said little contributions from members of the public would go a long way achieving the society desired.
In his words, “all of us can attest to the impact of the Governor, Biodun Oyebanji in the last few months and we are happy that the Governor is justifying the confidence reposed in him by the people of Ekiti State”.
“What the Governor has put in place in the area of road infrastructure, tourism, agricultural Intervention as well as human capacity development are pointers that we didn’t choose wrongly”, the Acting Chairman stated.
“I commend the Councillor representing Ward 4 in Ekiti West local government area for donating these exercise books to all primary schools in his local government area to boost educational development and also support the workaholic Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s efforts”, Adebusuyi emphasized.
The Councillor representing Ward 4, Hon. Morakinyo Erinfolami said the idea was born out of his desire to ensure that he plays his own part in the development of both human and the society.
He promised that all structures and processes are being put in place to sustain and improve on the efforts, commending the leadership qualities of the Governor who he said has restored the confidence of the people in democratic existence.
