EKITI ANGLICAN DIOCESE TO HOLD COLLATION SERVICE FOR CANON OLAITAN OLAOBA AS VENERABLE

All is now set for the collation service for Revd Canon (Dr) Olaitan Olaoba as a Venerable in the Diocese of Ekiti.
The programme slated for December 21st at St. Jude’s Anglican Church, Textile, Ado-Ekiti will be performed and presided over by Rt. Revd Dr. Andrew Olusola Ajayi, the Lord Bishop of Ekiti Diocese
Revd Canon (Dr) Olaitan Olaoba has played significant roles in the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) and has continued to play his part in the propagation of the gospel.
Canon Olaoba holds a Doctoral Degree from the prestigious University of Ibadan. He is also a Doctoral Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management, Nigeria. He is a certified Chartered Global HR Analyst, and Executive member of Nigerian Association of Church History and Missiological Studies. He is as well on the Academy/Editorial Board of NACHAM.
Olaoba is an astute and seasoned administrator, having spent many years in the service of National Biotechnology Development Agency as a Human Resource Manager before bringing his wealth of academic knowledge to the classroom at Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo.
He has presented many academic papers at conferences and has also authored numerous publications both in local and international journals.
Speaking with newsmen, the Clergyman emphasized that the elevation is a challenge to do more while he is prepared to justify the confidence reposed in him.
Olaoba assured that he would ensure that his church, New Era Anglican Church continues to grow from strength to strength while all structures would be put in place to facilitate all-round development in line with the vision of the Lord Bishop Andrew Olusola Ajayi.
