EKITI APC CHIEFTAIN DELE PHILIPS EXPRESSES HOPE OF BETTER STATE AS GOVERNOR OYEBANJI MARKS 100 DAYS IN OFFICE
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Mr. Dele Philips has expressed the hope of a better Ekiti under the administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
The APC leader who was speaking with newsmen on the 100 days celebration of the Governor said steps taken in the last three months have justified the experience garnered by the over the years as a public servant.
Dele Philips said having served in various capacities including being a member of the state executive council is a pointer that Ekiti couldn’t have had a better Governor at this time.
The Chairman of BAO Campaign Committee in Ekiti West local government area made reference to prompt payment of workers’ salaries and road rehabilitation which he said have restored the hope of the citizens in governance.
“These were our expectations when we asked people to support someone who has the experience and I am glad that Governor Oyebanji has shown us that he means well for our people and the state in general”, Dele Philips said.
Dele Philips expressed joy that Governor Oyebanji has started on a good note and therefore charged residents, traditional authorities, Community leaders and other stakeholders to continue to cooperate with the Governor to succeed in office.
The party leader who is also a member of Presidential Campaign Committee in the state called on residents to support APC in the forthcoming elections, noting that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu remains the best out of all those eyeing the exalted position of President.
