***Urges more support for Governor Oyebanji in the approaching New Year 2024
A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Mr. Dele Philips has urged Christian faithful to imbibe the spirit of love, peace and forgiveness taught by Jesus Christ.
In his Christmas message, the political leader charged Nigerians to reach out to the needy in demonstration of the “abounding love” which according to the business mogul is the bedrock of the special occasion being celebrated.
“As we do take time to celebrate with our families and loved ones, I implore you to reach out to your neighbours, especially those who haven’t had it as easy through the year,”Philips said.
He described the season as a moment for celebrating love and unity, urging all faithful to extend same to one another irrespective of their religious affiliations.
“There is no greater gift and honour you can give to Jesus Christ other than exhibition of forgiving spirit, display of love and assurance of absolute peace because these are what the lord Jesus symbolises.”
“We all must see ourselves as equal before the almighty God who purposefully created us with different cultural backgrounds.
Dele Philips specifically urged the people of Ekiti State to further extend the love to Governor Biodun Oyebanji to continue to deliver dividends of democracy to the people.
“Here’s wishing you the people of Ekiti State, especially sons and daughters of Central Federal Constituency 2 a Merry Christmas and a joyous new year,” the APC leader added.
