EKITI COUNCIL OF LEADERS HAILS TINUBU OVER OLUYEDE’S ELEVATION AS CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF
The Ekiti State Council of Leaders has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for the elevation of General Olufemi Oluyede to the esteemed position of Chief of Defence Staff of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In a statement by the Chairman of the Council, Asiwaju Dr. Dotun Adetunberu, the Council described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of General Oluyede’s distinguished career, exemplary service, and unwavering commitment to national security and professional excellence.
The Leaders of Thought in Ekiti State expressed confidence that General Oluyede will bring renewed vigour, strategic focus, and disciplined leadership to the task of addressing and reducing the security challenges confronting the nation.
The Council also called on all Service Chiefs and heads of security agencies to demonstrate the highest level of loyalty, collaboration, and dedication to national service under the leadership of the Chief of Defence Staff, in order to strengthen the unity, peace, and stability of Nigeria.
The Council further urged Nigerians, both at home and abroad, to continue supporting the efforts of the Armed Forces and the Federal Government in building a safer and more secure nation.
