A foremost educationist and organist in Ekiti State, Pa. E.A. Bolarinwa has died at a ripe age of 93.
Pa. Bolarinwa was a prominent teacher in Emmanuel Anglican Primary School, Ado-Ekiti where he made his mark as a professional teacher with application of teaching techniques.
It’s on record that Pa. Bolarinwa produced thousands of captains of industry, legal practitioners, medical practitioners, technologists, political leaders and many others in various fields across the world.
Pa. Bolarinwa was also famous among his pupils because of his emphatic disciplinary actions that have today shaped the lives of thousands who passed through him.
And now that ‘baba’ is no more, his pupils in Emmanuel Anglican Primary School, Ado-Ekiti are reflecting on his impacts in their lives.
Though the late educationist passed on at over 90 years, the pupils, family members and other sectors of the society felt he should still be with them.
Going through various comments on the social media, especially the WhatsApp Platform of the Alumni Association of Emmanuel Anglican Primary School, Ado-Ekiti, members attest to the fact that he was a committed teacher with fatherly touch.
It is also on record that Baba Bolarinwa was part of the planning of 120th Founder’s Day of Emmanuel Anglican Primary School Ado-Ekiti and was also in attendance at the events.
Similarly, on the Chat Platform of Christ’s School Ado-Ekiti Alumni Association, friends of one of her children, an Ilorin-based legal practitioner and the legal adviser of the Alumni Association, Ronke Adeyemi are identifying with the family and all he left behind.
According to a statement signed by the Alumni PRO, Tosin Jegede, the late educationist and was a teacher of teachers who would be greatly missed.
“Baba was a strict disciplinarian, teacher of teachers, organist per excellence and a true servant of God. He lived a fulfilling and impactful life, it is our wish that he has gone to rest peacefully in the bossom of our Lord Jesus who he served diligently till the end”, he stated.
Apart from his contributions to the academic world, the late nonagenarian was an organist in Emmanuel Anglican Cathedral for about six decades.
This contribution made ‘Baba’ Bolarinwa a household name among members of the congregation.
According to family sources, meetings and consultations are in progress with relevant publics of the family to ensure that all are carried along in the process of giving the foremost educationist a befitting home-going.
