EKITI GOVERNOR OYEBANJI’S SPECIAL ADVISER, OGUNLEYE COMPLIMENTS EFFORTS AT CUSHIONING SUBSIDY REMOVAL EFFECTS
The Director-General of Bureau of Special Projects in Ekiti State, Architect Tope Ogunleye has initiated processes that could cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal on the people.
Ogunleye who is also the Special Adviser to Governor on Special Projects had put in place a strategy to ensure that the less privileged are given attention through numerous private concerns.
This time, it was to compliment the efforts of Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji in ensuring that the presence of government is felt especially at a period when removal of fuel subsidy created economic hardship.
Presenting cash gifts to residents in Ado-Ekiti the state capital, Ogunleye expressed hope that the effects of the subsidy removal would be felt in the areas of societal and infrastructural development.
The Special Adviser represented by one of his aides, Otunba Alowonle assured that structures and processes are being put in place to ensure that governance has positive impact on the people.
