EKITI IPAC CHAIRMAN, OWOOLA DARAMOLA RE-ELECTED FOR ANOTHER TERM
***Calls for more recognition by government towards a collective approach towards developing the state
The Chairman of Inter-Party Advisory Council in Ekiti State, Comrade Owoola Daramola has been re-elected for another term.
The re-election took place today Tuesday, April 22nd, 2024 in Ado-Ekiti the Ekiti State capital.
The exercise conducted by National Vice Chairman of African Democratic Congress on the authority of the national office of the Inter-Party Advisory Council, Comrade Rasaq Eyiowuawi was a peaceful outing as all stakeholders conducted themselves in a peaceful manner.
Comrade Rasaq Eyiowuawi said Nigerians and all stakeholders at large should show interest in governance and development of the nation.
He commended the Ekiti State IPAC for ensuring that the election was carried out with utmost maturity.
In his response, the re-elected Chairman, Comrade Owoola Daramola said there is neither victor not vanquished as all hands should be on the deck to move the council and Ekiti State forward.
Daramola who is also the Chairman of Young Progressives Party in the state called on all members to come together to create a new orientation that is geared towards socio -economic and political development.
“It is my great delight todayfor your trust and faith you bestowed upon me as the re-elected chairman of IPAC.”
“With all the challenges and difficulties faced in the last one and a half years, I wouldn’t have thought anybody in this organization would be on my side not to talk about voting for me to be chairman”.
“But , today I give God all the glory, who in his usual way has used my arch enemies to make an unpopular person like me the talk of the town.”
‘However, I want to appreciate specially, the PRP chairman for his full support and for believing in me, I also want to appreciate others who have joined me to form a new executive. I very much look forward to working with all political party leaders.”

“Let me take this opportunity to acknowledge the tremendous and adorable initiatives that were undertaken by the present government of Ekiti, especially in the area of political appointments, it has created an avenue for participation in the development of the state.”
“We are not going to relent on our primary assignment of giving high and credible advice to the government on political matters, even though, we are the only IPAC in south west that is not recognized by the state government.”
