EKITI LG CHAIRMAN’S WIFE EMPOWERS MULTIPLE BIRTH MOTHERS WITH JOYFUL INITIATIVE
The Ido-Osi Local Government Council recently organized an empowerment program for multiple birth mothers and aged individuals in the local government area.
The program, in line with Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s agenda to eradicate poverty in Ekiti State, saw beneficiaries receive cash gifts and food items.
The Chairman of the local government, Hon. Bamidele Adetiloye Omoleye, represented by the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Gbenga Sanya, stated that the program aimed to support the state’s efforts in reducing poverty and improving citizens’ lives.
While presenting the gifts, Mr. Sanya urged beneficiaries to continue supporting government efforts and reciprocate by fulfilling civic responsibilities, including paying taxes regularly and participating in voter registration exercises.
The beneficiaries were overjoyed and expressed gratitude to the government for thinking about them. The program is expected to positively impact the beneficiaries’ lives and the community.
The organizer, Mrs. Titilayo Omoleye, wife of the Chairman of Ido-Osi Local Government, thanked the Governor of Ekiti State, the wife of the Ekiti State Governor, Professor Olayemi Oyebanji, and her husband, Hon. Bamidele Adetiloye Omoleye, for making the program possible.
The beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude to the local government council, led by Hon. Bamidele Adetiloye Omoleye, and the Ekiti State government, under Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s leadership, for the thoughtful gesture.
They promised to continue supporting government efforts and fulfill their civic responsibilities.
