The Chairman of BAO Campaign Committee in Ekiti West local government area, Mr. Dele Philips has congratulated the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji on winning the governoship election held on Saturday.
According to a statement signed by one of his media aides, Iyiola Adetola, the APC chieftain also commended the people of Ekiti West local government area as well as the entire state for trooping out enmasse to vote in favour of the party and its candidate.
Mr. Dele Philips who was a leading contestant for the Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2 seat expressed confidence in the ability of Oyebanji to attract socio-economic and political development to the 16 local government areas of the state.
According to the international business mogul, the Governor-elect had served the state in various capacities as commissioner, Chief of Staff to Governor as well as Secretary to the State Government.
The international business mogul emphasized that having been part of governance in the state will enable him hit the ground running even on the first day in office.
Mr. Philips also commended other members of the BAO Campaign Committee in Ekiti West local government as well as party leaders and followers who remained steadfast as the race to the Government House became tougher.
He therefore assured that the good works being carried out by the Kayode Fayemi administration would not only continue but also be improved upon.
