‘ESO-OBE AFENIFERE’ CELEBRATES EKITI COLLEGE GOVERNING COUNCIL CHAIRMAN, DR. FEMI THOMAS ON BIRTHDAY
A Socio-cultural and political organisation, ‘Eso-Obe Afenifere’ has joined the voices celebrating the Chairman of the Governing Council of College of Health Sciences and Technology, Ijero-Ekiti in Ekiti State, Dr. Femi Thomas on the occasion of his birthday.
Eso-Obe Afenifere is purely a platform and rallying point for Indigenes of Ikoro-Ekiti.
The former Commissioner for Health in the state and former Executive Secretary and CEO of National Health Insurance Scheme is also an Indigene of Ikoro-Ekiti in Eso-Obe Local Council Development Authority.
In a statement made public by the Convener of the group, Mr. Elijah Adekunle, Dr. Femi Thomas has always been a great source of encouragement for both the young and the old in the area.
According to Mr. Adekunle, the medical practitioner has always used his wealth of experience to impart positively on the lives of his people at different fora.
The Convener urged the celebrant to continue to be available for the community as well as its people when the need arises.
Adekunle prayed that God will continue to create more opportunities for Dr. Femi Thomas to continue to contribute his quota to the development of Ikoro-Ekiti with the praise chant of ‘Omo Eso-Obe so Ukoro, Omo a muda pariko’, Ekiti State and Nigeria in general.
