A farm estate owner, Mr. Olanrewaju Oyeleye, 50, and his farm manager, whose identity is yet to be confirmed, were reportedly kidnapped in the early hours of Friday, on their farmland in Oba-Ile, along the Akure Airport Road, Ondo State.
Sources close to the victims revealed that the abductors contacted Oyeleye’s family on Saturday, demanding a ransom of N100 million for their release.
Oyeleye, who had spent several years abroad, was said to have returned to Akure four years ago to invest in mechanised farming.
