
FEDERATION OF MUSLIM WOMEN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA URGES TOTAL ADHERENCE DURING RAMADAN

The Federation of Muslim Women Association of Nigeria(FOMWAN) has urged female Muslim faithful to keep adhering to the rules and regulations guiding Ramadan.
This was observed at the Ramadan Lecture delivered by Abdulazeze Rofiat the Amira FOMWAN in Odigbo local government area at the residence of an Islamic Scholar and philanthropist, Fadilat Sheikh Alhaji Abdulateef Yusuf Olajide Atanda popularly known as Sheu Agba of Ondo State.
Alhaja Rofiat said women should see themselves as agents of reorientation and promotion of values among faithful.
She called on the younger ones as well as the elderly to keep obeying the instructions of Prophet Mohammed towards making a good home.
Alhaja Rofiat Abdulazeze emphasized that the task of ensuring overall development is a collective responsibility and charged the female faithful as well as their male counterparts to keep abiding by the rules and regulations as laid down by Prophet Mohammed.
In his remarks, the host, Fadilat Sheikh Alhaji Abdulateef Yusuf Olajide Atanda popularly known as Sheu Agba of Ondo State expressed the readiness to keep encouraging Islamic faithful to continue to adhere to instructions of Prophet Mohammed (SAW).
The event was attended by faithful from all parts of Ore and Odigbo local government area and outside the council area.
Attendees described the gathering as an opportunity to be taught the Islamic rules and regulations that should guide both old and young.
They appreciated the host Fadilat Sheikh Alhaji Abdulateef Yusuf Olajide Atanda popularly known as Sheu Agba to sustain and improve on it.
The occasion also provided opportunity for the host, Fadilat Sheikh Alhaji Abdulateef Yusuf Olajide Atanda popularly known as Sheu Agba to present copies of Quran to the attendees.
