
FORMER EKITI GOVERNOR KAYODE FAYEMI MOURNS OWA OF IDANRE, OBA FREDERICK AROLOYE
“I have known Oba Aroloye since my first year in Christ’s School, Ado Ekiti when he was our neighbour in Ado GRA some 48 years ago, and it was from our neighbourhood he became a traditional authority in Ondo State.”
Immediate past Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi has expressed his deeepest condolences on the passing of His Royal Majesty, Oba Frederick Adegunle Aroloye, Arubiefin IV, Owa of Idanre Kingdom and paramount ruler of Idanre land.
Dr Fayemi extended his deepest sympathies to the government of Ondo State, the Idanre Royal Family and the people of Idanre land, describing the death of Oba Aroloye as a great loss to the state and the entire Idanre Community.
In a condolence message, personally signed by the former Governor, Dr. Fayemi stated that the late monarch had immensely contributed to the development and progress of the people of Idanre land and Ondo State as a whole and that his positive contributions will be remebered for generations to come.
According to the former Governor, “I have known Oba Aroloye since my first year in Christ’s School, Ado Ekiti when he was our neighbour in the Ado GRA some 48years ago, and it was from our neighbourhood he became the Owa Of Idanre where he went on to make great contributions to the development and progress of the people of Idanre land and Ondo State.
“Oba Aroloye was regal and respectable. He served his people with utmost commitment and dedication, his efforts towards the development of his people will be remembered for generations to come”, Fayemi stated.
He prays to God for the repose of the soul of the late monarch and ask God to grant him eternal rest.
