…Urges Governor to prioritize Tourism Development in Development in Idanre
A former member of
the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Tuyi Akintimehin has hailed Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his commitment to educational development and women empowerment across the 18 local government areas of the state.
The former representative of Idanre state Constituency who was was speaking with newsmen in Akure said Governor Aiyedatiwa has demonstrated his passion for both human and societal development in the state.
Hon. Akintimehin made reference to his impact on educational development with a focus on conversation of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic in Owo to University of Agriculture and Agribusiness.
The former state lawmaker maker emphasized that the development will not only production of food security but also engagement of youths across the 18 local government areas of the state.
In his words, “the governor has demonstrated that he is empowered to acknowledge contributions of women in all segments of the society.
Honourable Akintimehin urged Governor Aiyedatiwa to fulfill his promise to ensure establishment of a tertiary institution in Idanre.
Akintimehin also called on the Governor to ensure enlistment of Idanre Hills as a world heritage site to promote tourism potentials of the ancient community.
