FORMER ONDO HEAD OF SERVICE, TOYIN AKINKUOTU IS DEAD
Ondo State has lost one of its illustrious sons and seasoned administrators, Barrister Oluwatoyin Akinkuotu.
Akinkuotu passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
Akinkuotu who once served as the Head of Service of the stateBwas also the brain behind Lujama Heritage, an initiative that showcased his passion for cultural preservation and community development.
In a tribute announcing his passing, Alhaji Akinkunmi M.A (Ph.D), Secretary to the Chairman, described him as a dedicated public servant whose contributions to the Ondo State Government and the people of Ondo would remain indelible.Ondo tourism
“With a heavy heart, we announce the demise of our beloved brother, the brain behind Lujama Heritage, the former Head of Service, in person of Barrister Toyin Akinkuotu, today, 11th September 2025. His legacy and contributions to the Ondo State Government and the Ondos will forever be remembered and cherished. May the good Lord grant him eternal rest,” the statement read.
