
FORMER PRESIDENTIAL AIDE, DR KINGSLEY KUKU HONOURED WITH TRADITIONAL TITLE BY ONDO KINGDOM KINSMEN
Former Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on Niger Delta Affairs and former Chairman of Amnesty Programme, Dr. Kingsley Kuku has been honored by his kinsmen in Ondo Kingdom.
He was bestowed with the traditional chieftaincy title of “Losan of Ondo Kingdom” to strengthen his connection with his community.
Naijaparrots reports that the event which held in Ondo city was performed by Lotujomu of Ondo, Chief Ambrose Akinsade.
The distinctive features of the people of Ondo Kingdom include their vibrant culture and initiatives to unite all their indigenes for the development of the kingdom.
Installation of chieftaincy stands out as a prevalent method employed to acknowledge and identify their esteemed citizens.
A political stalwart, Dr. Kingsley Kuku whose paternal grandmother hails from Jomu quarters in Ondo Kingdom was selected as the Losan of the Kingdom as pronounced by Lotujomu of Ondo City.
According to him, none of their sons and daughters would be abandoned irrespective of where they live, describing Kingsley Kuku as the true son of the soil
His relatives from Ijaw land, Politicians and friends lauded the good character of the celebrant saying it is a deserved recognition.
The elated Kingsley Kuku expressed joy for the honour, saying it remains a memorable event.
L’oson of Ondo Kingdom is the second highest title in the Ojomu dynasty of Odo-Jomo in Ondo Kingdom. The title is next to Loton Ujomu in the chieftaincy hierarchy of Odo-Jomo in Ondo kingdom.
Dignitaries that attended the chieftaincy conferment include High Chief Akin-Olaniyan, the Odofin of Ondo Kingdom;
Chief Aba Oluwase Ogunye, the Lotujomu of Ondo Kingdom; High Chief F.O Akinrujomu, the Jomu of Igushin land ; Chief Akinsande, the Layegbo of Ondo Kingdom; and Chief Adetutu Tolu, the Lighoo of Ondo Kingdom.
Others were Hon. Kemi Adesanya, Hon. Kennedy Perei, PDP Publicity Secretary in Ondo State and Chief Ebenezer Alabi, former Chairman of PDP in Ondo State amongst others.
