Former Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Taofiq Abdulsalam has called on other aspirants and candidates of various political parties in the just concluded governorship election to join the Governor-elect in the task of building the economy of the state.
In a statement personally signed by him the Ikare-Akoko-born leader of the All Progressives Congress congratulated Governor Aiyedatiwa for the landslide victory.

Former Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abdulsalam Taofiq Olawale, extends heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his resounding victory in the just concluded governorship election held last Saturday. The official announcement by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday has further validated the overwhelming support the Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa received from the people.
The impressive voter turnout and the decisive results of the election serve as a powerful testament to the faith the residents of Ondo have in Governor Aiyedatiwa’s vision and leadership. With a clean sweep in all 18 Local Government Areas, proudly tagged “18-0. Straight Win”, this victory reflects a collective desire for continuity in governance that resonates deeply across our beloved state.
