FOUNDER, PROMISED LAND PROPHETIC MINISTRIES, PASTOR GBENGA AKINBIYI BURIES MOTHER IN GRANDSTYLE
The Governor of Ondo state, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, CON, his deputy Hon. Lucky Ayedatiwa, Minister of State Transport, Hon. Ademola Adegoroye, Ondo state Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Odusola, APC State Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, MHR-Elect, Gboyega Adefarati, members of the Ondo state House of Assembly, were among several other eminent personalities who joined the Senior pastor and General Overseer of Promisedland Prophetic Ministries Akure, Gbenga Akinbiyi and his siblings to bid their mother, Prophetess Lucia Olagbenke Akinbiyi farewell.
Other dignitaries at the Funeral Service held on Saturday included a renowned gospel musician and General Evang., Ojo Ade, Pastor Olutimehin, Pastor Olu Alo of CAC Adanimogo, Pastor Alex Afolayan, State Pastor of Dunamis and his wife.
Also in attendance were HRH Oba Rufus Olumoyegun, the Oniju of Iju Odo, HRH Oba Potoki, the Onimerunkun of Imerunkun and other traditional rulers.
In their separate tributes, Akeredolu described late Mama Lucia Akinbiyi, as a true Christian who lived a life worthy of emulation and celebration.
Represented by the SUBEB Chairman, Hon. Victor Olabimtan, he noted Mama lived a good life of service to God and humanity.
He congratulated Pastor Gbenga Akinbiyi and his siblings for surviving their aged mother.
He enjoined the children to sustain the good legacies of their late mother.
On his part, the General Overseer of Dunamis Church, Pastor Paul Enenche who is also the spiritual father to Pastor Akinbiyi equally rejoiced with the children of the deceased for surviving their aged mother.
Represented by the state pastor of Dunamis, Pastor Alex Afolayan and his wife, he described the late prayer warrior as a mothet of generals. He prayed God to continue to be with them even after the demise of their mother.
Earlier in his sermon, Pastor Alfred Ajifowowe, the General Overseer of Evangelical Christ Apostolic Church, ECAC said God was merciful and gracious to late Mama Akinbiyi throughout her lifetime.
While congratulating the Oke Igbo-born pastor, Gbenga Akinbiyi and his siblings, the Pastor commended the children for taking good care of their mother until her death.
Appreciating all invited guests that attended the ceremony, Pastor Gbenga Akinbiyi thanked everyone for honouring them with their presence.
