
GLITZ, GLAMOUR AS KEHINDE HARUNA HOOKS BANKOLE AKINTADE IN AKURE

It was a display of culture, love and enthusiasm as Michael Bankole Akintade got hooked by his heartthrob, Kehinde Haruna in Akure the Ondo State capital.
The groom, Bankole is a son of a grassroots mobiliser and political leader from Owena the headquarters of Idanre local government area of Ondo State, Engr Jimmy Akintade while the bride, Kehinde is a daughter of an Ondo State-based entrepreneur, Mr. Haruna whose impact on economic development is always appreciated.
Members of the two families, friends, well-wishers from within and outside the state as well as members of The Nigerian Project gathered at Eri and Erin Events Center in Oke-Aro area of the state capital for the solemnisation of holy matrimony between the two love birds.
The Alaga Iduro and Alaga Ijoko from the the two sides engaged the gathering with entertainment and traditional protocols of ensuring that the two became one.
The occasion was a great opportunity for the couple and their friends as well as family members to celebrate the love birds.
The bride and the groom described the occasion as a dream come true as they have made a vow to be friends all their lives.
For Bankole and Kehinde, the good Lord has been part of their journey and they expressed the hope that the gains would be enormous as they have made Christ the foundation of their home.
In an interview, the groom’s father, Engr Jimmy Akintade thanked all those who made the event a success.
Akintade thanked family members from both groom’s and bride’s sides from Owo and Owena-Idanre for the roles played to contribute to the realisation of the dream.
The event was attended by political leaders and grassroots mobilisers including members of The Nigerian Project.
They include the Atayese of Oke-Aro in Akure, Chief Bamidele Ojo and Elder Ayo Falafel as well as other members of the Project’s executive council.
