
GOVERNOR AIYEDATIWA SET TO EMPOWER 1500 WOMEN TO MARK INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa is set to empower 1500 women as part of the activities marking the 2025 International Women’s Day.
This was disclosed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Women Affairs, Dr. Seun Osamaye while speaking with newsmen in Akure.
The Special Adviser said the development taking place in just about a week after the Governor’s inauguratiion is aimed at boosting their businesses.
In her words, “the forthcoming International Women’s Day would provide platform for the unveiling of various programmes and policies aimed at alleviating the suffering of women in the society”.
“We are keying into the various programmes of the Renewed Hope Initiative being championed by the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu to enable our women in Ondo State benefit from the life-improving programmes”.
“There is Women and Youths-in- Agriculture that will benefit secondary school students with the aim of boosting food security and Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has assured that these programmes would receive total support of the state government”, Osamaye stressed.
