GOVERNOR AIYEDATIWA SET TO PRESIDE OVER 2025 CHILDREN’S DAY IN ONDO
…Over 3.200,000 million naira cash prizes to be won while lucky student will go home with brand new bicycle
…Revived Children Parliament to be Inaugurated by Governor at the event – Dr. Osamaye
Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa is set to preside over this year’s National Children’s Day celebrations in Ondo State.
Th event slated for the Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Arcade on Igbatoro Road in the state capital is expected to be attended by top government functionaries as well as stakeholders in the education sectors and representatives of various schools from across the state.
Various programmes and Innovations have been introduced into the celebration to make it more colourful in line with global best practices.
In a statement, Special Adviser to Governor Aiyedatiwa on Women Affairs, Dr. Seun Osamaye said the state government has put in place structures and processes to ensure a hitch-free event.
“The first 50 schools to arrive venue stand a chance to win a bicycle through raffle draw by a partnering NGO, Kidscon”.
“The winners of the different categories of the competition (Oratory Skills, Cultural Parade Display, And March Past will go home with Lucky Star prizes of 800k each spread for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Position”.
“The Inauguration of the revived Children Parliament will also take place at the event which promises to be remarkable, memorable and interesting for all Ondo State children”, Osamaye added.
