GRASSROOTS MOBILISER, SAMUEL AKINTUNDE EXPRESSES READINESS TO UPLIFT ONDO EAST’S ECONOMIC STATUS

A grassroots mobiliser and entrepreneur, Hon. Samuel Temitope Akintunde popularly known as ‘Ola Inu Kan’ has expressed the readiness to uplift the status of Ondo East Local Government area of Ondo State if elected the council Chairman.
Akintunde who was speaking with newsmen in Akure on his chances of becoming the number one citizen in the council said he has the qualities to compliment the efforts of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa at the grassroots.
The Chairmanship aspirant who stated that Ondo East has numerous agrarian advantages assured that farmers would be empowered to multiply their yields while job opportunities would be created for the youths.
The grassroots mobiliser said Micro and Small-scale Businesses would be encouraged to grow while structures would be put in place to enhance access to micro-credit facilities.
While commending the people of Ondo East Local Government area for voting enmasse for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the last governorship election, Akintunde urged the people to continue to support the government to keep delivering dividends of democracy.
According to him, Aiyedatiwa has convinced the people that he means well in about a year he had been at the saddle, expressing the hope that more interventions would be witnessed in the nooks and crannies of the state.
Apart from being a grassroots mobiliser, Akintunde was pioneer Chairman of Action Congress (AC)
Ondo East LGA.
The Chairmanship aspirant was also the Pioneer Democratically- elected Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) and Chairman of Chairmen Ondo Central Senatorial District.
He also served as Member of Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Shetima 2023 election from Ondo East LG.
