GROUP EXPRESSES CONFIDENCE IN EKITI REP MEMBER, BIODUN OMOLEYE’S LEADERSHIP QUALITIES
A Socio-Cultural and political organisation, ‘Agbajowo Foundation’ has hailed member representing Ekiti Central federal constituency 2 in the House of Representatives, Hon. Biodun Omoleye for adequately representing his people at the green chambers.
The Ekiti State Coordinator of the group, Princess Adenike Adejugbe in an interview with newsmen in Ado-Ekiti said the federal legislator has always carried his constituents along in ensuring that they are not left behind.
Princess Adejugbe said Hon. Biodun Omoleye has always sought opinions of his people before taking decisions in the process of ensuring even distribution of dividends of democracy.
The Coordinator stated that the federal legislator’s in the development of personal lives of his people as well as overall development of Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2 remains a great encouragement.
Princess Adenike Adejugbe made reference to the legislator’s position on review of policy framework for national development to put in place a new national disaster insurance scheme to ensure public confidence.
Hon. Biodun Omoleye sponsored a motion to that effect on the floor of the National Assembly.
The members of the green chambers eventually called for review of the nation’s disaster management structure.
It was his position that billions of private and public infrastructures are destroyed annually by the combined effects of floods, fire, and storms of unimaginable proportions, hence the need to address the noticeable gaps in disaster mitigation management in Nigeria.
